Company

Limn Historics was founded by Graham Caddick following lifelong enthusiasm for classic and vintage cars.

After training in a modern bodyshop, Graham followed his passion to start up his own company, GC Autorefinishing, restoring classic and vintage vehicles at North Farm in Quainton, Bucks.

Graham’s reputation soon spread due to the high quality of finish and friendly service and the business outgrew the old premises, prompting the renaming of CC Autofinishing to Limn Historics in January 2010. Limn has since taken on four full-time employees as well as a full-time contractor; all of whom have the same attention to detail and maintain Graham’s welcoming ethos, whilst retaining the personal service he prides himself on.

We are based at new premises in Twyford, near Buckingham, in the heart of Buckinghamshire, where we have equipped a modern workshop with high quality equipment, including a full-sized spraybooth; we also have a second adjacent workshop where we carry out other aspects of the refinishing service.

We are also please to be able to offer discrete car storage on site through our sister company Buckinghamshire Car Storage.

With over 40 years’ collective experience in paintwork and refinishing, we are expanding to offer other aspects of refinishing, including mechanical rebuild work alongside our high quality paintwork.
